I haven’t used the bathroom alone since I’ve had kids. Some people read while doing their “business”, some people play Angry Birds, I play catch with my toddler or grade my daughter’s homework. I’m pretty sure they’re just keeping an eye on me to make sure I don’t escape. The other day, the baby burst through the bathroom door exclaiming “HI”! I told him Mommy was busy and to go play with his toys. Three big blinks of his go by and he’s still standing there motionless just staring at me with his big toddler eyes. So I unload my bladder that I would have emptied a lot earlier if kids weren’t so needy. As I kept peeing, his little eyebrows got higher and higher and his little toddler jaw dropped in pure amazement at how much Mommy could pee. When I finally finished, he threw his little fists high in the air yelling “YEAH!” and then began clapping for me.
I appreciate his support.
